How much gel should I apply?
It depends on the size of your tattoo. Apply a thin layer to the skin so that it covers the entire tattoo and leave it to absorb the active substances and create a protective layer. It shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes. Do not rub the gel into the skin, apply it gently and let it dry.
When should I start applying the gel?
After the session, your tattoo artist will apply cling film, medical foil (second skin) or an absorbent pad.
The gel can be used immediately after removing the form of protection applied by the artist according to their instructions.
In the case of heavily inked tattoos that ooze fluids during the first 48 hours, the protective layer may not form, but the active ingredients contained in the gel will soothe irritations and support the regeneration process.
How often should I apply tattoo aftercare gel?
Best to follow your artist instructions. This is usually 3-4 times a day after thoroughly washing and drying the fresh tattoo.
How long should I use tattoo aftercare gel for?
The first most important phase of tattoo healing takes about 7-10 days. Use of our tattoo aftercare gel can shorten that time to as little as 5days.
After the first phase is over we recommend using deep moisturizing products such as Super Fruit Tattoo Food, which will provide the skin with an additional boost of vitamins and minerals and will ensure a healthy look of the tattoo for years.
How many tubes do I need?
Tattoo Aftercare Gel is rich in active ingredients in high concentrations. Usually, for a palm-sized* tattoo one 40ml tube of gel is enough.

DOES THE GEL WORK LIKE FILM / SECOND SKIN?
The purpose of the film or second skin is to protect the tattoo in the first hours after the session when fluids ooze from the tattoo.
They do not contain ingredients that support regeneration and are made of plastics that are not water-soluble.
Film / Second skin creates a thick, physical barrier that protects against cross-contamination and staining, for example, clothes with secretions from a fresh tattoo.
The purpose of our gel is to provide relief to sore skin, soothe irritations, reduce inflammation, accelerate regeneration, eliminate itching and protect against infections.
The protective layer that is created 3-5 minutes after the correct application of the tattoo care gel is natural, water-soluble, delicate and breathable. Effectively protects a fresh tattoo against external factors such as dust, dirt, hair and clothing fibers. It prevents the wound from sticking to clothes and thus does not leave greasy, difficult to wash off stains.
